'Mary's Lullaby' Print
'Mary's Lullaby' Print
A detailed print of my original painting titled 'Mary's Lullaby'.
I imagined this moment between Mary and the Savior, the Newborn King. Mary still exhausted after labor, her belly still swollen, her body aching, keeping herself awake and singing lullabies to the King of Kings. Swaying and rocking him to sleep. Holding his little hands and comforting him. Raising and loving and saving the one who would eventually save us all. Jesus, fresh to the world, surrounded by new sounds, cold air, hunger, and pain. Clinging to His mama for warmth, sustenance, and safety. I imagine that they had the same kind of moments that billions of other mamas and babies had before them, and would have after them.
The parallels between Mary and the savior are so beautiful to me. She was His everything, His giver of life, His deliverer, His sustenance, the one who endured tremendous pain to give Him life. He was her everything, He would later save her and all of us, He would be Her deliverer, Her sustenance, He would endure unimaginable amounts of pain for not just her, but every other soul that has existed. What a beautiful relationship.
These are the things I think of when I see Mary singing lullabies to her baby. Her baby that she so carefully and lovingly raised, and then gave us all the gift of. I thank heaven for Mary and her love, for without her tender care and her selflessness, we would not have Him.

Canvas Details
Canvas prints are made lovingly by hand in the United States, and are shipped directly from my supplier to you. Reflective gold is NOT able to be added to the canvases due to the way they are made and the protective coating used on them. The gold colors in canvases will be a flat gold color as shown in the listing images.
Unframed Canvases have a wrapped image and a 1.5" edge. They have a sawtooth hanger in the back for easy installation.
Framed canvas prints come in either a white, black, or gold floater frame. Floater frames create the illusion that the artwork is floating inside of it. They elevate the artwork and the perfect finishing touch. Framed canvases have a 1.5" edge and come with a hanging wire in the back for easy installation.
Canvases are printed on thick archival grade, poly-cotton canvas. The canvas is pH neutral, acid-free, and will not yellow over time.
Canvases are perfect for gifting!
