As back to school season starts, I’ve been thinking a lot about the kind of messaging I wish I had been surrounded by as a young girl and teenager. When I look back at that period of my life, I am saddened by how hard I was on my myself. It took me a long time to love who I was, to respect myself in relationships, and to take myself and my dreams seriously. I want to create artwork that helps those younger than me to remember that they are worthy of love and respect. This piece is inspired by that desire. In this painting, a young girl waters her head, which flowers are growing out of. She is surrounded by butterflies, which symbolize transformation and change.
Self love is something I have spent a lot of time thinking about, specifically because it is mentioned in the Bible. In Matthew 22:37-39, it says “Jesus said unto him, thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”
Thou shalt love thy neighbor as THYSELF. The importance of loving yourself taught by the Savior of the world. When I learned this, it changed a lot for me. I began to view loving myself as something holy and divine instead of something selfish. I began to nurture my heart and my mind. I took my dreams and my goals seriously and I fell in love with my soul and my spirit. Once I did that, I was able to love others fully. How could I ever have done that had I not extended that kindness to myself first?
If you are struggling to love yourself fully, or find it hard to pour intentional time and love into yourself, I hope that this painting reminds you of how important it is to do so. Help yourself bloom. You deserve it. You are allowed to change and transform and develop and blossom. You can be whatever you want to be.

Print Details
4x6”, 5x7”, 8x10” and 11x14” are printed on a beautiful matte 80# paper. These sizes are placed in cellophane sleeves and shipped in a protective stay-flat envelope.
16x20” and 18x24" are printed on archival fine art paper. These sizes are rolled and shipped in a heavy duty mailing tube.
*PLEASE NOTE - all original paintings are painted on 5x7" paper. Because of this, ALL other print sizes except 5x7"prints will be cropped to fit dimensions *
I provide bulk pricing for my 4x6" prints. If you need to purchase more than 100 prints, please email me! If you purchase 100+ prints, the price per print is $0.95.
Canvas Details
Canvas prints are made lovingly by hand in the United States, and are shipped directly from my supplier to you. Reflective gold is NOT able to be added to the canvases due to the way they are made and the protective coating used on them. The gold colors in canvases will be a flat gold color as shown in the listing images.
Unframed Canvases have a wrapped image and a 1.5" edge. They have a sawtooth hanger in the back for easy installation.
Framed canvas prints come in either a white, black, or gold floater frame. Floater frames create the illusion that the artwork is floating inside of it. They elevate the artwork and the perfect finishing touch. Framed canvases have a 1.5" edge and come with a hanging wire in the back for easy installation.
Canvases are printed on thick archival grade, poly-cotton canvas. The canvas is pH neutral, acid-free, and will not yellow over time.

Ornament Details
Ornaments are made of porcelain. They are sturdy and should not break unless dropped from a tall heigh onto very hard floor. Ornaments are oval, approximately 2x3 inches, and come with a classic white ribbon attached.

Production time for prints is typically 7-10 business days. Shipping times vary from 1-5 business days (after production time) depending on which shipping option you select.
