'For All Mankind' print

A detailed print of my original painting titled ‘For All Mankind’.

This painting depicts Christ praying in the garden of Gethsemane. In this painting, I tried to capture His immense sorrow, and immense love. So many feelings that I imagine He was experiencing. For so long I have been thinking of a way I could depict that Christ’s atonement is for EVERYONE. This idea of a mosaic of skin tones behind Him was whispered to me in a moment of inspiration. I want all people to be able to look at this piece and see themselves reflected in it. To look at it and remember that He suffered for YOU. Your pain, your hurt, your sins, your mistakes, your anger, your anguish, your sorrow. The atonement is simultaneously infinite and individual. It was for everyone, and it was for you. In the garden, I like to imagine that He pictured each of us in His mind and sat with us. This painting is that idea brought to life. 

I use a beautiful, heavy-weight, acid-free paper for my prints. Prints come unframed and signed by the artist. All of my prints are border-less.

Each print is placed in a clear plastic sleeve to protect from moisture while traveling to you, and mailed in a rigid envelope.
