'Christ And The Swallows' Print
'Christ And The Swallows' Print
This is a detailed print of my original painting titled Christ And The Swallows'.
The fifth ‘word of the year’ painting. I created this painting with the word ‘hope’ in mind, which was a highly requested word this year. In many cultures across the world, swallow birds are symbolic of hope and better times. Often their arrival heralds the end of winter and the start of spring. As I thought about this word and how I wanted to incorporate swallows in this painting, I thought of a quiet moment between swallows and the Savior. Both of these - swallows and the Savior represent hope to me. I love imagining this quiet moment between the two of them, the Prince of Peace and Hope ushering in hope, new life, and new beginnings.
If ‘hope’ is your word of the year for 2025, I pray that this painting can remind you all year long that there is hope in Him. We can feel His love through so many of His little messengers here on earth. Maybe sometimes, you will feel that hope through landscapes, nature, or flowers. Other times you may feel His love and His hope through your loved ones, family, and friends. And other times, you may feel that hope when you see the beautiful swallows in the sky. Whatever you are hoping for this year, may this painting be a reminder that He hopes with you. He is aware of every desire and hope in your heart. If He watches over and cares for each little bird in the sky, just imagine how much He must care for you.
“Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?” Matthew 6:26

Canvas Details
Canvas prints are made lovingly by hand in the United States, and are shipped directly from my supplier to you. Reflective gold is NOT able to be added to the canvases due to the way they are made and the protective coating used on them. The gold colors in canvases will be a flat gold color as shown in the listing images.
Unframed Canvases have a wrapped image and a 1.5" edge. They have a sawtooth hanger in the back for easy installation.
Framed canvas prints come in either a white, black, or gold floater frame. Floater frames create the illusion that the artwork is floating inside of it. They elevate the artwork and the perfect finishing touch. Framed canvases have a 1.5" edge and come with a hanging wire in the back for easy installation.
Canvases are printed on thick archival grade, poly-cotton canvas. The canvas is pH neutral, acid-free, and will not yellow over time.
Canvases are perfect for gifting!
