It is my favorite way to worship Him and feel connected to Him. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis year’s painting is a painting of the resurrected Savior walking through the garden after leaving the tomb. This piece is titled ‘The Resurrection And The Life’, a phrase from the scripture John 11:25. I love imagining those moments soon after His resurrection. I love imagining what the Savior was thinking about as He walked through the flowers. I love picturing Him strolling through the gardens, rejoicing that His mission was complete. I love imagining these quiet moments that He had all to Himself. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis painting captures a beautiful moment that reminds me that joy does come after suffering. No pain lasts forever. No broken heart is beyond repair. All things can be healed and become beautiful through Him. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eJust hours before this moment, His followers experienced some of their most sorrowful days on earth. Their Savior had been brutally murdered before their eyes, and they did not know if He would return. We will all have many moments like this throughout our lives. Times where things feel completely hopeless. I hope when you feel that way, you can look at this painting and be reminded of the the Savior who will always rescue you, who will always heal you, who will always be the true source of peace. You may be in the middle of a storm now, but beautiful flowers will bloom from the rain you are experiencing.
