Each year on October 15th I try to create a new painting in honor of the angel babies in heaven 🦋💞

This year’s painting is titled ‘Among Heaven’s Stars.’ In this painting, the Savior cradles an angel baby under the heavens. The little baby points to one of the beautiful stars above them and they admire them together. I felt that this imagery may be meaningful to those who are waiting to meet their angel baby one day. I hope this painting can be a reminder that both you and your angel baby share the same stars, the same universe, the same heaven, the same Savior. When you look at the stars, I hope you can feel the love of your baby. I know they absolutely cannot wait to be reunited with you one day.

Nothing I do or say will ever take the pain away from those who have experienced this loss. My only hope is that some of my work can help you feel seen, loved, comforted, and connected to your angels. I frequently feel the Savior plant ideas and images into my heart that I know He wants you to see. I hope that today, this and the other images I share help you feel surrounded by your angel baby’s love. I know that Jesus is holding them among the stars, and I know that one day you will be able to hold them among those same stars. I know you will be reunited with them and be able to tell them all the ways that they changed you and made your life so much more full of love.

I hope this painting reminds you that He is carrying you through every single season of your life.
